This site was created by an RID-certified Pacific NW Sign Language Interpreter who also has completed the MHIT (Mental Health Interpreter Training) program in Alabama. She then completed the practicum and examination to earn the title of Qualified Mental Health Interpreter/QMHI and this compilation of resources began as part of her portfolio for that certification. She maintains this website as an act of love with the hope of strengthening mental health services available to the Deaf Community.
